My friends and I exchanged gifts on Friday! It was also the last day of school before Christmas break, so WOOO! NO SCHOOL FOR TWO WEEKS!
Before I bombard you with the things I received, here’s what I gave to my friends:

For Nina, I bought her The Host by Stephenie Meyer + a pack of Lindor Lindt Truffles.

As for my other pal Amanda, I gave her a nice brown knitted scarf from Old Navy + an issue of Betty and Veronica + a pack of Lindor Lindt Truffles.
Her present took me almost an hour to finish because it was the first Christmas gift I wrapped for the year, so in other words, I was a tad bit rusty in wrapping anything. AND it was the first time I tied an actual ribbon to any present. Honestly, I was just trying to appreciate the effort she took in tying a ribbon on my birthday present by returning the favor—and obviously I failed miserably.
Next time, I should just look up a tutorial on how to do it instead of wasting my time trying to tie it myself…
Unless… that makes me a good friend…?

I’ve noticed that me and a lot of my friends are already in “holiday mode”.
To us, the days feel like years and the weekend feels like it’s months away. I think we’re all just so sick of school right now and are desperate to start our Christmas vacation already!
I’m supposed to be studying for tomorrow’s English test right now, but I couldn’t even bring myself to zip open my bag, let alone memorize pages of definitions.
So instead of wasting my time staring blankly at my notes, I’ve decided to post more Christmas-related photos to quench my appetite for the holiday season.
All these xmas posts are probably getting really old by now, but I dipped my camera in a bowl of ornaments today and I thought the pictures turned out quite marvelously.

Here are some shots from last weekend’s Christmas party! We have this huge party every year with all our family friends and friends of friends where we eat, talk, play games, and dance. All the parents had this dance competition (which was so embarrassing!) and we all had a hilarious time doing the cha cha slide. We played games like ‘Guess this Word’, ‘Broken Telephone’ and ‘Musical Chairs’ which I was the winner of!
Although a few images are blurry, I actually like the bleary feel of them. They remind me of film cameras and their perfect imperfectness (makes sense?). Oh and sorry for the inconsistencies between their colors—still experimenting with it!

I spent most of my time taking pictures of this little guy. He did an awesome job dancing to Billy Jean!
