I know everyone’s heard of the news about Polaroid discontinuing production of their famous instant cameras. I thought all hope of getting my hands one one was lost. heartbreak That is, until I found a really cute substitute for it~

I’ve been trying out this neat little program called Poladroid that my sister introduced to me recently. Basically, it’s like having a Polaroid camera right on your desktop. It even gives your photos a cool vintage touch and all you have to do is drag-and-drop! I know this will never ever replace the feeling of owning a real one, but it fills the void..

Check out some of the photos from their Flickr group pool.

And now here are some of the photos I tested it with:

i have the same application content  i agree, it doesn’t make up for the fact of owning a real polaroid, but at least i can have the same results and that is nothing to complain about star

Hi. I found your link at Shanna’s blog. And I thought of visiting.

I was really amazed that you made your layout all by yourself. I wanted to make one for my blog too but since I don’t have the talent and knowledge, then I think I should just be patient and look for possible layout that would express myself.

About the Polaroid stuff, I really wanted to have one too. It’s really saddening that I won’t have a chance to have one because of that stopping production thingy.

Anyway, do keep on posting. I may be dropping by your blog often.  grin

knowing they possibly will stop making polaroid cameras gives me these mixed emotions…technology is becoming so advanced nowadays. i’m not saying it’s a bad thing, because we have so many new opportunities now. but, it just changes everything. it makes me think about how different our world is today than before. i also think about how fast times go by…

your site looks beautiful btw smile
ps: can you believe how famous twitter has gotten?! :o i know this is random but i just checked your twitter status lol. i remember when i used to have one for my site, and it wasn’t really known then. but it’s everywhereeee now. i see it advertised on TV too!
