My friends and I exchanged gifts on Friday! It was also the last day of school before Christmas break, so WOOO! NO SCHOOL FOR TWO WEEKS!
Before I bombard you with the things I received, here’s what I gave to my friends:
For Nina, I bought her The Host by Stephenie Meyer + a pack of Lindor Lindt Truffles.
As for my other pal Amanda, I gave her a nice brown knitted scarf from Old Navy + an issue of Betty and Veronica + a pack of Lindor Lindt Truffles.
Her present took me almost an hour to finish because it was the first Christmas gift I wrapped for the year, so in other words, I was a tad bit rusty in wrapping anything. AND it was the first time I tied an actual ribbon to any present. Honestly, I was just trying to appreciate the effort she took in tying a ribbon on my birthday present by returning the favor—and obviously I failed miserably.
Next time, I should just look up a tutorial on how to do it instead of wasting my time trying to tie it myself…
Unless… that makes me a good friend…?

Moving on! Here’s a blurry picture of what I got:

So I received: A Beatles poster (SQUEEEEE!), a $25 gift card to the bookstore, and nice opaque red + yellow tights!
Marvel at these closeups…
Such a cute and funny gift card!
I love these boys
Gotta go find a nice poster frame to place this in..
This was on my wishlist! Forgot where she said she got them from… I think it was Urban Outfitters?
I already have outfit ideas that include these pretties. So excited!

Since the break has started for most of us, I wanted to take the time to wish you all a wonderful holiday season with your friends and families. No, this is not a goodbye-til-next-year kind of post (God knows I still have so much stuff I want to blog about before the year ends) but just a I’m-glad-you-exist-and-visit-my-blog kind of thing.
