I was supposed to blog about this weeks ago, but the lack of proper sunlight held me back from taking nice pictures of… my new vintage leather satchel ! 
I just knew it was a good day when I entered Salvation Army that day—and I was right! Sure, I did look stupid while crouching and trying to untangle this baby from a million other bags, and yes, it does comes with the vintage odor too (read: like a grandma died in there), but for $7.99, I finally have it!! Also, the shoulder strap can come off, which is a plus 
Now I can cross this off my Christmas wish-list 
P.S. Don’t you love how the receipt says “immaculate” on it? I think that refers to its quality…?
Oh and does anyone know an effective way of removing the musty stench from an old leather bag?

Wow! That’s a nice bag. I love vintage-ish stuffs. Oh, maybe you love fashion, huh? ‘Cause I’m a fashionista. Hmmm… I want that bag you bought, if only I have money and I’m here in Philippines, I haven’t seen that kind of bag yet. Poor me.

Wow, $7.99 for that satchel? What a steal I like shopping for vintage stuff, because you never know what sort of goodies (like this) you might find in the stores.
As for the musty stench, maybe you can try spraying a small notecard with perfume and leaving it in there? I always do that with the perfume samples I get in department stores and it leaves my purses smelling all sorts of good (at least not like a dead grandma, lol).

As a lover of fashion I know I should get into finding vintage stuff but I just can’t do it! The smell would frighten me off in one second~ Ahhh, I’m conflicted. You did find a nice satchel though so maybe I should give it a go

That’s such a beautiful bag! I’m not a big vintage shopper but I plan to give it a go one day. I tried it once but going through racks of clothes is not my thing.. but everyone is finding such beautiful pieces!
