I fully intend to overhaul my links page in the coming weeks but for now, I’ve added a new section to the page called “Mens Fashion”. I felt it was appropriate because I personally have a great respect for menswear (as much as I do for women’s). I guess it’s just refreshing to see dudes actually trying in the clothes department.

And maybe it’s also partly due to my recent obsession with androgyny. What can I say? I love brogues and blazers and fedoras and my boy-cut and bow-ties and suspenders and GQ Magazine (luckily my brother subscribes!) and I don’t care what people think. This is why I got so angry when I heard that Angelina Jolie was getting shit for “turning Shiloh into a tomboy” or when Emma Watson got a pixie cut. As a young heterosexual woman who also happens to have a pixie cut and likes to dress like a boy, I say WTF WORLD?! STOP JUDGING US

When you leave The Sartorialist out of the picture, you’ll find that men are still slightly underrepresented in streetstyle blogs (probably why making these inspiration boards took longer than I’d hoped). Although it’s nice seeing all those men’s style blogs popping up, boys—you still need to up your game!
