I tried but I—I really couldn’t have said it better than Tavi:

Being lucky enough to gaze at a glimpse into such an artist’s vision, and knowing that you can’t even imagine everything that was put into making it, and suddenly feeling so happy and joyful about humanity, and life, because, Jesus, a person made this..is incredibly uplifting. Very rarely are we blessed with a talent so strong and unparalleled and a passion so pure and driven.”

Thank you Mr. McQueen. You will be sorely missed..

I didn’t even really know who Alexander McQueen was until I read about his death on Yahoo. It’s such a sad thing.

Isn’t Tavi that 13-year-old fashion girl? I saw her in Teen Vogue some couple issues ago.

Beautiful video. As I look back at his past collections, it pains me even more to see how much we all have lost. He’s irreplaceable. I would hate to see the label close but who could even try to continue his work?
