With sprinkles on top
After tinkering with my Archives page and noticing that I only blog about four times per month, I have come to a decision: I will blog every single day of December (or close to everyday, anyway). One of the main reasons I even opened this site was to have some sort of journal to store my thoughts, experiences and memories. By spending more time fiddling with my site’s code than doing actual blogging, I am not using this site for its main purpose.
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, back to my day:
I woke up at around 12 o’clock this afternoon to the sound of my mom’s screaming as she was trying to wake us up to go to the hair dresser. Tomorrow we’re gathering with a very large group of our family friends to have our annual Christmas party, so my mom wanted us to look decent before then (she always says my hair resembles a lion’s mane). I really didn’t want to get a lot of it cut at first, but when I sat on the barber’s chair, I changed my mind. So for once in a very long time, my hair is chopped off around where my chin is. Sure it makes my face look a bit chubbier, but at least now my head is lighter.
When we got home, my sister and I baked brownies!
Luckily we bought some colorful sprinkles last weekend to top off our masterpiece.
We sprayed some snow on our Christmas tree (we have a spray can of fake snow..) so I went ahead and took shots of it too:
